What Makes Polyurea Floor Coating Different?
Unlike conventional epoxy and polyurethane coatings, polyurea reacts and cures very quickly after its components are mixed. In suitable formulations, this allows a fast-cure floor coating system to shorten installation windows and return areas to service sooner.
Polyurea also offers high elongation and flexibility, making selected systems suitable for surfaces exposed to movement, vibration or thermal cycling. Depending on the formulation and application method, spray-applied polyurea can also create a continuous protective membrane for flooring, waterproofing and secondary containment applications.
