Build Up & System Components
A system performs because every layer has a role. A typical polyurethane (PU) and epoxy flooring system may include:
- Primer for adhesion and substrate consolidation
- Optional pore sealer/scratch coat to close the surface and level out imperfections
- Body coat (self-leveling or structured) to build thickness and strength
- Optional sand broadcast to achieve slip resistance
- Seal coat/topcoat to protect against wear, chemicals, and staining
