Polyurethane Flooring

Explore polyurethane flooring components designed for complete resin flooring systems requiring durability, flexibility and resistance to impact, chemicals and thermal stress.

Polyurethane Resin Flooring Components by Floorfinder

Floorfinder manufactures polyurethane resin flooring components for a range of industrial, commercial and specialist applications. The range covers both heavy-duty cementitious polyurethane systems and PU coating components, each developed for different operating and performance requirements.

From food processing and industrial floors to commercial interiors and protective topcoats, our polyurethane components are selected for properties such as flexibility, thermal resistance, chemical resistance and surface durability.

Two Polyurethane Families for Different Applications

As a polyurethane flooring manufacturer, Floorfinder develops two distinct PU families. Each is designed around different service conditions rather than treated as one universal solution.

FLOORCRETE PU — Cementitious Polyurethane Flooring

The FLOORCRETE range combines polyurethane resin with cementitious technology to create heavy-duty flooring for environments exposed to heat, moisture, impact and aggressive cleaning. These systems are particularly suited to PU flooring for food processing, commercial kitchens and industrial areas where thermal cycling, wash-downs and chemical exposure can occur together.

Selected FLOORCRETE systems can provide resistance to thermal shock, abrasion and food-related chemicals while offering greater tolerance of damp substrates than conventional epoxy systems. This makes cementitious polyurethane flooring particularly relevant for demanding production and processing environments.

FLOORFINDER PU — Polyurethane Coatings & Topcoats

The FLOORFINDER PU range includes polyurethane body coats, self-levelling layers and topcoats used within complete resin flooring systems. These components can be specified for industrial floors, car park decks, commercial interiors and other environments where flexibility, surface protection or UV resistance is required.

In some multi-layer flooring systems, polyurethane topcoats are applied over epoxy body coats so each resin chemistry can perform a specific role within the complete build-up. The term PU epoxy flooring is sometimes used to describe this type of system, but technically the polyurethane and epoxy remain separate layers rather than a single combined material.

Key Performance Characteristics of PU Flooring

Thermal Resistance

Selected cementitious PU systems are designed for environments exposed to hot wash-downs, thermal cycling and changing process temperatures.

Chemical Resistance

Systems can be specified for exposure to cleaning chemicals, food acids and process spillages.

UV-Resistant Finish Options

Selected polyurethane topcoats provide improved stability for areas exposed to sunlight and UV.

Moisture-Tolerant Options

Certain cementitious PU systems can accommodate substrate conditions that may be unsuitable for conventional epoxy flooring.

Greater Flexibility

Polyurethane chemistry can provide more movement tolerance than rigid epoxy systems where substrate or service conditions require it.

Suitable Applications

Suitable for food and beverage processing, commercial kitchens, breweries, pharmaceutical production, car park decks, industrial floors, healthcare environments, and commercial interiors where polyurethane resin flooring is selected for its thermal, chemical, flexibility, or finish requirements.
